My wife and I both were really getting very nervous.  I called 3 companies. One thought it was too much liability. One called and cancelled. A short while later the company I came across by chance showed up soaking wet.  You could tell he had a love for this kind of challenge.  The whole crew of 3 did.  They did not have the big equipment and fancy big trucks.  They used ropes and pulleys. Climbed in the tree to prune accurately. They cut and slowly moved this large tree by slowly scooting it along with old school pipes to get it in the trailer.  My husband said they were 800 lbs, 6 ft long. There were 75 branches that size. So it was difficult, but they stayed with it, never getting frustrated, Before long the tree was off the roof, on the ground, headed to the mill. I don't guess I considered how dangerous this job is. Naturally, this project created a mess throughout the yard.  His crew cleaned my flowerbeds, blew out my garage of dust and leaves.  They did this as part of the way  to give back.
